Founder & CEO
Mitsuhiro Nakayama
Mitsuhiro Nakayama

Born the eldest son of a tea-farming family in Makinohara, Shizuoka.
After graduating from university, he began his career as an IT engineer, working across systems development and the planning and operation of IoT services. He then moved into renewable energy, leading projects across solar O&M, electricity retail, smart-city initiatives, virtual power plants and battery storage — taking each from launch through to commercial operation, across departmental lines.
Later, he took on the management of a regional power-retail company, building structures that link business with the resolution of social issues by working in concert with local government and communities.
Beyond energy, he has launched several initiatives — implementations of the circular economy, and rebranding work that draws on traditional industries and regional resources. His distinct strength lies in carrying an engagement end to end — from the conception of a new service through systems design and management, to the realities of running the business.
Forces · Three foundations
Three foundations
Zero to One
Zero-base thinking
Refusing to be confined by existing frames, we question rationally and open new markets. The approach: doubt the premise of the business, redesign from first principles.
Local × Global
Local strength, global reach
Drawing on regional resources — terroir — we extend them into high-value markets at home and abroad. The work is to translate local truth into a globally legible form.
Co-creation
Co-creative leadership
We bring together public bodies, local communities and companies, creating with a wide spectrum of stakeholders. Each business is designed not as a single firm, but as an ecosystem.
Parcours · The path
From the tea fields, to enterprise.

Une Famille de Thé
